Raffa's American Bistro is the first restaurant to
open in the King's Harbor Waterfront Development located in Kingwood, Texas.
Kingwood, also known as the Livable Forest, is part of the Houston Metropolis
and is conveniently located near George Bush International Airport and downtown
Houston. Raffa's stylish architecture and design, urban energy, and the
New American cuisine appeal to a diverse suburban crowd.
Raffa's features American favorites with culinary influences from Europe,
Asia, the Southwestern states, as well as fresh Gulf seafood. The dining
room accommodates 160 patrons. There are an additional 40 patio seats along
the lake. The award-winning Bennett Design Group of Houston helped create
an interior that gives the restaurant an unprecedented look in Northeast
Houston. The interior is spacious with soaring ceilings and 12 foot windows
that overlook the water and the plaza. The design features an open kitchen
that energizes the bar area which also overlooks the water and has seating
for thirty patrons. The private wine room can be reserved for parties of
ten or less. The dining room has an area that can be designated for private
parties up to fifty people and features a beautiful 30 foot granite buffet
which can be used for appetizer receptions or a full dinner buffet. Daily
"chef" specials are intriguing and Sunday Brunch is offered from
11 AM to 2 PM weekly.
Raffa's is owned and operated by Tony and Leslie Raffa along with chef/partner
David Welch.
The Raffa's bring family tradition and over 50 years of restaurant experience
to their new "Bistro".
Chef David Welch ( a Texas native ) was trained in Paris at the Cordon Bleu
and is the Executive Chef and Director of Operations at Raffa's. Chef Dave,
as he is affectionately known, graduated first in his class and was the
recipient of the "Gran Diplome Le Cordon Bleu."
We look forward to serving you in the near future!
